Workspaces

Organize screens and content with workspaces for different locations or projects

Workspaces

Workspaces help you organize screens, media, and playlists into separate environments. Perfect for managing multiple locations, clients, or projects.

What Are Workspaces?

A workspace is an isolated container for:

  • Screens and screen groups
  • Media files and folders
  • Playlists and sequences
  • Team member access

Content in one workspace is separate from others.

When to Use Workspaces

Use Workspaces For

  • Different physical locations
  • Separate client accounts
  • Distinct content strategies
  • Team separation needs

Don't Use Workspaces For

  • Simple organization (use folders)
  • Screen grouping (use groups)
  • Content variations (use playlists)

Best Practices

Naming Convention

Use clear, consistent names:

  • "Downtown NYC - Retail"
  • "Client: Acme Corp"
  • "Workspace 1" (avoid generic names)

Start Simple

Begin with one workspace. Add more only when you have a clear separation need.

Document Purpose

Add descriptions to help team members understand each workspace's purpose.

Deleting Workspaces

Deleting a workspace permanently removes all its content, including screens, media, and playlists.

To delete:

  1. Go to SettingsOrganization
  2. Find the workspace in the Workspaces section
  3. Click the workspace menu
  4. Click Delete Workspace
  5. Type workspace name to confirm
  6. Click Delete Permanently
