Create stunning visual content with Canva and display it directly on your digital signage screens. The Canva integration will allow you to import designs, presentations, and graphics without manual export/import workflows.

What is Canva?

Canva is a popular design platform that makes it easy to create professional graphics, presentations, social media posts, and more. With Screenzzie's upcoming Canva integration, you will be able to bring your designs directly to your screens.

Planned Features

When available, the Canva integration will include:

• Direct import - Browse and select designs from your Canva account
• Playlist integration - Canva designs go directly to playlists (not Media Library)
• Multiple format support - Images, presentations, and graphics
• OAuth authentication - Secure connection to your Canva account

How It Will Work

Accessing the Integration

1. Go to Playlists in the main navigation
2. Select or create a playlist
3. Click the Apps tab in the playlist sidebar
4. Select Canva from the available apps

Connecting Your Account

1. Click Connect Canva Account
2. Log in to your Canva account (if not already logged in)
3. Authorize Screenzzie to access your designs
4. Browse and select designs to add to your playlist

Design Guidelines

When creating Canva designs for digital signage:

• Use high contrast - Screens are often viewed from a distance
• Large text - Minimum 24pt for body text, 48pt+ for headlines
• Simple layouts - Avoid cluttered designs
• 16:9 aspect ratio - Matches most display screens

While the Canva integration is in development, you can still use Canva content:

Manual Export

1. Design your content in Canva
2. Export as PNG or JPG (high quality)
3. Upload to your Media Library
4. Add to playlists from the Media tab

Using Canva's Share Link

1. In Canva, click Share > More
2. Select Embed or get a public link
3. Use the Website app to display the link
