Display websites, dashboards, and web applications on your digital signage screens

  • Instagram galleries
  • Facebook page feeds

Best Practices

Performance

  • Avoid heavy sites - Complex pages may slow playback
  • Test thoroughly - Preview on actual hardware
  • Optimize for display - Use display-friendly pages when possible

Compatibility

  • Use responsive sites - They adapt to screen sizes
  • Check HTTPS - Secure sites work best
  • Test embedding - Not all sites allow iframes

Content Quality

  • Large fonts - Ensure readability from distance
  • High contrast - Improve visibility
  • Simple layouts - Avoid cluttered interfaces

Creating Display-Optimized Pages

For the best experience, consider creating dedicated display pages:

Tips for custom display pages:

  • Remove navigation menus
  • Increase font sizes
  • Use auto-scrolling for long content
  • Implement auto-refresh
  • Optimize for 1920x1080 or 3840x2160

Troubleshooting

Website Not Loading

  • Verify the URL is correct and accessible
  • Check if the site allows embedding (X-Frame-Options)
  • Ensure HTTPS is used
  • Test the URL in a regular browser first

Content Appears Small

  • Use a responsive-designed website
  • Consider creating a display-specific page
  • Contact support for assistance

Authentication Issues

For sites requiring login:

Avoid displaying pages that require login credentials. The authentication may expire, leaving screens with login prompts.

Consider alternatives:

  • Use public dashboard URLs
  • Generate shareable/embedded links
  • Create public view versions

Limitations

  • No interaction - Users cannot click or interact with the displayed website
  • No authentication - Login-protected pages will not persist sessions
  • Iframe restrictions - Some sites block embedding via X-Frame-Options
  • Performance - Heavy websites may impact playback performance

Security Considerations

  • Only display trusted websites
  • Avoid sites with sensitive information
  • Use HTTPS whenever possible
  • Review embedded content regularly
