Learn how to manage your digital signage screens in Screenzzie

Screens Overview

Screens are at the heart of Screenzzie. Each screen represents a physical display connected to your account that shows your content.

What is a Screen?

A screen in Screenzzie is the digital representation of your physical display. It tracks:

  • Connection status - Online, offline, or pending pairing
  • Content assignment - What playlist or sequence is playing
  • Configuration - Orientation, zones, overlays, and settings
  • Activity - Last seen, uptime, and performance

Screen Dashboard

When you navigate to Screens, you'll see:

  • A grid or list of all your screens
  • Status indicators (green = online, red = offline, yellow = pending)
  • Quick actions for each screen
  • Groups displayed as collapsible sections
  • Search and filter options

Screen Configuration

Click on any screen to access the configuration editor at /screens/[id]/configuraciones. The editor has three tabs:

Design Tab

Configure the visual layout of your screen:

  • Orientation - Landscape or portrait mode
  • Rotation - 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees
  • Presentation Mode - Hide browser controls on the physical display
  • Zone Template - Choose screen layout (Full, 50/50 Split, Main+Side, Quadrants)
  • Overlays - Drag clock, weather, image, or announcement overlays onto the canvas

Overlays are positioned by drag-and-drop directly on the preview canvas. Simply drag an overlay from the sidebar and drop it anywhere on the screen preview.
